The Workshops
In the workshops, you will be guided through a Feldenkrais® movement sequence (Awareness Through Movement®; ATM for short). You will start by lying on the floor, sitting or standing to explore how to use your hips, pelvis, torso, chest, arms and legs, and find how these are connected in movement. The movements are gentle and enjoyable. You will then stand up and experiment with how your body movements evolve into simple dance steps. As the music is added, the emergent dance becomes fun!

The Awareness Through Movement® Lessons
Please note: these Feldenkrais lessons can help make your dancing easier and with more fluidity. No music or choreography offered in these lessons.
In these series you will be guided through a Feldenkrais® movement sequence (ATM®). You will start by lying on the floor, sitting or standing to gently explore how to use your hips, pelvis, torso, chest, arms and legs, and find how you connect them in your own movements. Through gentle explorations and increased awareness, you will learn what other movement options you have available to re-discover your own innate capacity for graceful and efficient movement. The movements are enjoyable. The instructions are primarily verbal with occasional visual clarifications. Each section will help you on your journey to become a better dancer.
