In this class you will be standing for a Feldenkrais Awareness Through Movement lesson.  You will learn how your feet, knees, hips, pelvis, spine, and eyes are connected in a wave-type movement by initiating this movement from your hips.  The movements are gentle.  Your brain will be challenged to find the coordination of this fun, enjoyable movement.  A melody is introduced for you to experiment what it is like to let the movement ripple through your spine to music.

Getting To Know Your Hips And Spine

In this class you will be lying on your back for a Feldenkrais® Awareness Through Movement® lesson.  The gentle movements are designed for you to get to know your natural hip, sacral and pelvic movements and how these movements connect to your spine, eyes and even jaws.

Move Your Spine And Dance!

In this class you will be dancing with simple steps to music.  You will learn to use your hips and to differentiate your eyes and spinal movements for a smooth wave type dance movement. First slow, then a little faster. At the end you will have fun improvising with your newly learned dance moves.
