In this class, you will be standing for a Feldenkrais Awareness Through Movement lesson.  You will learn how your feet, knees, hips, pelvis, spine, and eyes are connected in a wave-type movement by initiating this movement from your hips.  The movements are gentle.  Your brain will be challenged to find the coordination of this fun, enjoyable movement.  A melody is introduced for you to experiment what it is like to let the movement ripple through your spine to music. 


After this class students oftentimes report their

  • Chest feeling more open

In this class you will be dancing with simple steps to music.  You will learn to use your hips and to differentiate your eyes and spinal movements for a smooth wave type dance movement. First slow, then a little faster. At the end you will have fun improvising with your newly learned dance moves.
